Our favorites do change, based on customer service, food quality, and the enjoyment of the overall experience. Please let us know if our recommendations didn’t work out for you.
Beware: Our recommendations are not coming from a “healthy eating” perspective 🙂 Being able to eat outside or on a screened porch is a priority for us when when selecting a restaurant. We require “decent to great-tasting” food and a fun vibe. Many of our recommendations are waterfront, whether on the ocean or the river.
Please refer to TripAdvisor and the establishment’s specific website for its type of fare, menus, days and times of service, etc.
If we leave the Hammock for food and drink, we tend to go to south to Flagler Beach or Ponce Inlet, and north to St. Augustine Beach or St. Augustine city.
We are lucky to have a full-service grocery store and several yummy places at which to dine in The Hammock neighborhood. You can ride a bike or walk to any of these businesses. Please check the business website or FB Page for current operating hours and menus.
The Hammock Publix grocery store sells wine, beer, and mixers, but does not sell liquor. The closest place to buy liquor is in the city of Palm Coast– take the Hammock Dunes Bridge across the Intracoastal Waterway to ABC Liquor. The bridge across the Intracoastal is free going west into Palm Coast, but will cost $3 coming back east into The Hammock.
We like breweries that also serve tasty food! Below is our favorite, but there are others in the St. Augustine area. Please check their business website or FB Page for current operating hours and specials.
